Opis stanowiska

Summary

The transport planner solid is responsible for the incoming and outgoing order processing and documentation, including generating delivery/shipping documents, under the guidance of the Transportation Manager.
Creates deliveries and shipments.
Liaises with internal and external transport companies/departments for timely incoming/ outgoing shipments.
Ensures accurate information about deliveries.
Investigates and takes action on all non-conformance via salesforce and recommends corrective procedures.
Makes sure that invoices from carriers are in line with agreed prices and booked in SAP within the agreed timeframe and issuing credit & debit notes to them.
Provides feedback to customer care agents in case of questions about deliveries.

Accountabilities

Arrange & coordinate all shipment for deliveries and returns from/to EDC Belgium, import and export. Liaise with warehouse and operations to ensure cargo readiness and arrangement for shipment. Liaise with transport, forwarding & shipping agent for container arrangement.
Ensures (proactively) communication on errors and planning deviations to customer care.

Wymagania

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Economics, Business or similar or 2+ years of relevant working experience in Shipping, Logistics or Supply Chain
Background of food industry
Experience with SAP
English
Dutch or another language is an advantage
