Summary

The Global Finance Learning Manager’s scope includes the Finance, IM / IT, and Legal functions (all reporting into and forming part of the “Finance” function). He / she combines strategic with operational work aspects. He / she ensures that employees’ capabilities meet functions’ current as well as future needs, supporting them to continuously improve their performance. He / she ensures that learning activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with the relevant policies and standards. He / she is the go-to person for Finance, IM / IT, and Legal global learning topics as well as key proponent driving all related communication activities. The Global Finance Learning Manager:

  • Aligns and collaborates with Global HR
  • Identifies learning needs at a global level for Finance, IM / IT, and Legal
  • Drives global learning strategies and initiatives for Finance, IM / IT, and Legal
  • Governs Finance’s global (e-)learning curriculum
  • Oversees job profiles for Finance and IM / IT
  • Builds and leverages learning intelligence for Finance, IM / IT, and Legal

 

Activities

This role’s scope includes the Finance, IM / IT, and Legal functions (“Finance”). It requires a high degree of autonomy and includes the following key responsibilities:

  • Develop, evaluate, and execute global strategies targeting Finance’s key learning needs
  • Leverage HR systems and processes to effectively deliver global learning initiatives within Finance
  • Safeguard Finance’s global learning governance framework and mechanisms
  • Maintain / update Finance’s job profiles (in line with Global HR’s job architecture)
  • Track, monitor, and review Finance’s learning performance as well as training effectiveness along various metrics (KPIs)
  • Review and update Finance’s global (e-)learning curriculum on a yearly basis including budget gatekeeping
  • Administer Finance’s global (e-)learning curriculum as the power user (e.g., granting access, stewarding data, procuring content)
  • Source (e-)learning content and manage learning vendor contracts for Finance in line with Global HR Governance
  • Track and maintain Finance’s learning target population including reconciling deviations
  • Build, foster, and manage internal (e.g., learning population) and external (e.g., learning vendors) relationships for Finance
  • Establish Finance’s global learning network and facilitate communication flows
  • Market Finance’s global learning initiatives in line with HR policies, processes, and systems
  • Promote Finance’s global learning resources and assure their quality
  • Uphold a learning culture within Finance
  • Remain up to date on learning best practices and apply them within Finance
  • Develop and maintain Finance’s learning intelligence

 

Key interactions

  • Align with Global HR Talent and follow its learning governance
  • Collaborate with Global HR Talent on global learning strategies and initiatives for Finance, IM / IT, and Legal
  • Act as node / sounding board for Finance, IM / IT, and Legal employees regarding global learning topics
  • Network with Global / Regional Center of Expertise Heads to source key learning needs for Finance, IM / IT, and Legal
  • Plan and host the yearly Finance Learning Governance Board to discuss and review key learning topics for Finance, IM / IT, and Legal

 

Reporting structure

Wymagania

The following profile is required to succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
  • 3-5 years’ experience in implementing and managing learning management systems (preferably SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Thorough knowledge of e-learning platforms as well as content procurement, integration, and maintenance
  • Oversee job profiles governance for the function in checking in with the business to determine what needs to be updated per job content, competency and structure by liasoning with the HR CoE.
  • Capacity to strategize (i.e., conceptualize) and operationalize (i.e., execute); a “hands-on thinker”
  • Proven track record in successfully managing strategic learning initiatives
  • Eager to understand, track, and tackle learning needs across teams and regions
  • Contemporary knowledge of effective learning and development methods and programs including an understanding of best practices and trends
  • Experience in a multinational company (experience within the B2B Food Industry an advantage)
  • Persuasion and influencing skills
  • English business proficiency (written and spoken)
