What is Global Fund Administration & Reporting responsible for?

GFAR (Global Fund Administration & Reporting) is responsible for fund administration and reporting, including oversight of the third party administrator and a variety of reporting activities for the mutual fund organization, covering funds domiciled in Luxembourg, Poland, UK, and Ireland, as well as providing assistance to FTIS (the Management Company in Luxembourg).  Currently with the changing environment there is many reporting automation opportunities– as an intern with GFAR you will have the opportunity to assist with identifying and developing new automated solutions, as well as assisting with performing some oversight and fund administration tasks.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of Intern - Global Fund Administration & Reporting?

With guidance from GFAR Management:

  • Support GFAR oversight tasks
  • Support automation of various reporting for external and internal clients, including regulatory reporting
  • Assist in streamlining GFAR processes
  • Implement analytical reporting tools that can be incorporated in Management reporting


  • has current student status,
  • is 4-5th year student in the area of financial reporting, accounting, financial markets or IT,
  • is fluent in English,
  • is available to work 30 hours per week,
  • has advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Access, Alteryx or similar,
  • programming skills are viewed as an advantage,
  • has a background in preparing presentations / communication in a summarized format.
