Procurement Intern - Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Working as part of the Procurement & Logistics team, this role involves gathering and interpreting data related to cost, quality and demand patterns. Reporting to the Procurement Team Lead/ Procurement & Logistic Manager, you will study performance, identifying areas for improvement, developing recommendations for action in support of procurement and logistics activities, and communicating your findings and performance reports to assist in decision-making.

Your responsibilities:

Gathers and interprets relevant data (cost, quality, demand patterns, etc.) and provides analitycal support e.g. site inventory and material stock out analysis and trends, material availability reports
Develops and communicates periodic trend and performance reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
Investigates problems, find root causes and recommends improvement to existing and planned PL processes
Leads/ supports proces improvement teams
Provides SAP/ BAAN MRP support to buyers
Coordinate daily material issues and sommunication- alignment between production stock outs versus SAP stock outs
Analyzes inventory trends, reports findings. Supports ABCD part analysis
Reviews material plans (planned orders) against actual

Wymagania

Your background:

Current Students or Graduates of: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Production Management
Willingness to develop in the Procurement area
Very good command of the English language, both spoken and written
