What this position is about - Purpose:

In this role you will act as the lead for the DevOps and SRE within the rapidly expanding Ecommerce & Digital Ecosystem.

What will you do - Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement and manage Azure cloud services – app services, functions, compute engine/VM instances, service bus, Kubernetes as service, managed container as service, database, storage, Redis cache, networking, IAM, Elastic etc.
• Lead  a team of in-house and outsourced engineers overseeing a range of disciplines including Azure Cloud, DevOps, Networking and Storage, Site Reliability Engineering, Security and Help Desk Management
• Streamline and continually improve operations through monitoring, support and diagnostic tools and scripts; analyze and improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of the platform
• Understand and anticipate infrastructure needs, create an environment where Dev/QA/Staging/Production work can proceed securely and efficiently
• Implement compliance policies and controls (SOC2, PCI, CCPA); own Cloud and On-Premise Security; continuously monitor the platforms for operational and security risks
• Ensure appropriate level of monitoring of resource capacity, maintain high platform performance levels, maximum uptime and the overall integrity of production systems; document the need to increase or reduce capacity based on SLR and cost modeling
• Carry out performance testing for all new systems and participate in the change management process for future site deployments
• Provide resolution recommendations to performance-related incidents and problems
• Coordinate the regular solutions patches, updates, upgrades; contribute to the overall solution health checks; perform regular solution architecture and code reviews to optimize performance

• Extensive professional DevOps engineering or SRE leadership role (6+ years)
• Very good experience with range of disciplines including Azure Cloud, DevOps, Networking, Storage, SRE & Security
• Experience in technical quality control processes, tools, and methodologies
• Understanding  of SLIs, SLOs and SLAs from the service level to the business level
• Good understanding of data architecture concepts
• Familiar with Enterprise Applications: iOT, Ecommerce Platform
• You are fluent in English
• You have a diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or related
