Opis stanowiska

What this position is about - Purpose:

Currently, we are looking for Safety Data Sheet Manager who will join Legal&Regulatory Affairs Department in our Global Business Services in Warsaw.

The SRA Safety Data Sheet Manager is responsible to author and maintain JTG Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels in accordance with the United Nations' Globally Harmonized System (GHS) and the Classification, Labelling, and Packaging (CLP) regulations.
The incumbent is also responsible to maintain the SDS database ensuring that the latest regulatory developments and JTI best practices meet current and future JT Group business requirements (e.g. to ensure a smooth movement of chemicals/flavors along the JTI supply chain). 

What will you do - Responsibilities:

  • Ensure maintenance of the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) & Labelling database in accordance with latest regulatory developments and JTI best practice to meet current and future JT Group business requirements;
  • Author and maintain JT Group SDSs and Hazard labels for Fuji Flavour and EFH License Concentrates and e-liquids in accordance with EU CLP. Prepare required translations to EU MS languages and regulatory translations to other GHS standards;
  • Provide regulatory guidance regarding applicable product classification and labelling requirements;
  • Liaise with GSC departments (EHS, Flavor Kitchens...), EFH and JT C&F to understand their regulatory duties under CLP (GHS) to help ensure compliance with relevant safety and environmental requirements;
  • As required, contribute to other chemical management projects in the wider SRA Department e.g. generation and review, QC etc. of REACH and REACH type inventories for all applicable manufacturing entities.

Wymagania

  • Academic degree in a scientific discipline, ideally chemistry;
  • Experience in regulatory requirements for Hazard Communication and Safety Data Sheets. First experience of chemicals law such as EU REACH, CLP, and related technical regulations and standards;
  • Excellent English communication skills  (both written and oral);
  • Standard Computer skills (MS Office). Knowledge in SDS management software is a plus;
  • Experience of working in complex regulatory environments;
  • Strong communication skills, oral and written.
