About the role:

The Manager Group FP&A is an excellent learning and interaction opportunity with top Business Leaders in the market leader of the industry. The Manager Group FP&A, based in Lodz, is part of a group of other 2 managers and it is supported by the Shared Service center. This is a highly visible role in the organization, with exposure to Executive Committee members, and Group and Regional CFOs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly analysis and reports on overall financial and non-financial performance, benchmarked against the prior year, forecast, and/or budget. 
  • Follow up with regions on action plans and provide the latest outlook basis on the outcome of the analysis.
  • Coordinates mid-term planning, forecasting, budgeting, and operational planning process with the regions. Ensure the outcome of the exercise make sense and prepares the final analysis for CEO/CFO for approval. 
  • Support the preparations of financial results and reporting to external stakeholders (BoD, investors, annual reports, rating agencies).
  • Identify areas of improvement within the team, make a practical proposition, and implement it in a structured manner.
  • Collaborating with various internal stakeholders on providing financial analysis on a regular/ad hoc basis.
  • Coordinate and support a more junior resource.
  • Identify areas of improvement and provide leadership from the FP&A side to design, implement and deploy improvement to the overall financial planning process.
  • Support the Group FP&A director and progressively take ownership with specific analysis for P&L and Capex, preparing scenarios and sensitivities for presentations up to ExCo.
  • Coordinate with the Regional FP&A finance community and also the SSC FP&A in streamlining reporting and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders on providing financial analysis and insights on a regular and ad-hoc basis.

Wymagania

About you:

  • Minimum Bachelor in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or similar.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis in a multinational environment, preferably in commodities, manufacturing, or FMCG.
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis or finance business partnering ideally in Group or Regional role.
  • Experience in a region or operations as controller / finance business partner is highly welcome.
  • General accounting understanding is a prerequisite.
  • Business fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Knowledge of finance systems and business intelligence tools (SAP BOFC, BW, Analytics Cloud, EPM).
  • Self-starter and proactive; able to operate autonomously and proactively network in an ambiguous environment
  • Able to balance detailed, hands-on analytical work with strategic thinking.
  • Experienced in change and stakeholder management at a global level across hierarchies.
  • Able to prepare detailed complex analyses and financial models with a high level of precision.
  • Solid project management skills and capacity to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication, listening, and influencing skills to collaborate effectively across cultures and hierarchies.
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively plan priorities, resources, and workload.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Organized, structured, and able to plan over the mid-to longer term.
