In order to ensure the above objective, we want to reinforce the central transformation program team with a highly motivated and result-oriented candidate in the role of: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – Advanced analytics. The Senior Project Manager will manage end-to-end centralization and restitution of an analytics resource pool within BC and will provide various next-gen analytics services to various functions on demand. The person will be accountable to the Head of EPM as well as indirectly to the project sponsor. In addition, the Senior Project Manager will partner with the assigned Information Management (IM) teams, and other central project team members in FP&A and EPM, Data Governance, Master data, Change, and Communication to ensure coordinated, on-time, and high-quality project delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and document with the project(s) sponsor the strategic objectives and ambition of the project.
• Drive and act as a functional thought leader in the solution design elements of the project.
• Define and document implementation and resources plan, around agreed deliverables.
• Establish and maintain project governance. 
• Manage and coordinate internal/external resources as necessary.
• Ensure project(s) delivery as per the brief, with respect to scope, timeline, costs, and benefits.
• Monitor performance and maintain an effective plan to ensure the project meets the agreed outcome together with the PMO.
• Manage complexity, resolve issues, and control resources and deliverables.
• Report on status and actions, escalate for decision as appropriate.
• Advise Sponsor and Program Head on key decision points. 
• Act as an ambassador for the vision on advance analytics toward business stakeholders and the teams.
• Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders within and outside of Finance. 
• Once the project phase is over:
• Take over the responsibility to lead the analytics resources pool and then act as solution delivery responsible, ensuring that the Analytics solutions comply with the functional and technical design, are built based on reporting best practices, and are in compliance with BC reporting templates. 
• Identify business opportunities in the Analytics area and continually seek to leverage and promote solutions to address strategic and tactical business goals.
• Deliver timely end-to-end Analytics solutions leveraging corporate platforms and manage a pool of in-house resources, efficiently balancing their work allocations based on business demand.
• Provide expert knowledge in data engineering, modeling, integration, and governance on SAP BW/4HANA and Microsoft Azure platforms.

• Master's degree in Economics / Information Management / Finance / Business Administration.
• 2+ years of project management experience in data analytics-related projects preferably involving finance data sets.
• 5+ years of proven track record in analyzing, designing, and delivering Analytics solutions in a business-facing role.
• 2+ years experience in various Analytics technologies with a focus on BW/4HANA and Microsoft Azure.
• Familiar with visualization tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Objects, and PowerBI.
• Hands-on experience with designing and implementing SAP BW/4HANA (or SAP BW on HANA) solutions.
• Hands-on experience in BW backend object development (data sources, composite providers, transformations, routines, BW queries).
• Working knowledge of SQL and/or ABAP (BI Scope: start/end routine, FM, BADIs, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in data integration between SAP and no-SAP systems and cloud services (SAP Extractors, DB connect, SDA)
• Strong experience in all phases of the software development process including requirements gathering (own requirements gathering), architecture design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Affinity to data governance.
• Excellent communication skills within the project and with wider stakeholders. 
• Fluency in English.
• Strong leadership skills in managing and influencing business, without having direct reporting lines.
