Our business line Analytical team is seeking a Global Marketing & Communications Specialist. Your role will be to create and implement marketing and communication strategies that help our business grow and enhance our brand recognition in the global market. In the business line Analytical we offer an extensive range of innovative analytical measurement solutions that help detect and prevent gas leaks that harm the environment – and business’ bottom line. Operating in extreme conditions, from the depths of the ocean to outer space, our systems continuously monitor natural and industrial greenhouse gas emissions, including CO2 and methane, safeguarding human health and the planet.
The business line is part of the ABB Measurement & Analytics division, which is among the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers. With thousands of experts around the world and high-performance digital technology, ABB's team is dedicated to making measurement easy for its industrial and energy customers to let them operate more efficiently and profitably.

  • You will be responsible for proposing and implementing internal and external communication strategies validated by the Global Marketing & Communications Manager or line managers within their approved budget.
  • You will plan, create, and deliver engaging content for various channels, such as web, social media, email, newsletters, brochures, videos, etc., bringing along your editing skills in video and graphics.
  • You will collaborate with product managers, sales teams, and external agencies to ensure alignment and consistency of messages and visuals across regions and markets.
  • You will monitor and analyze the performance and impact of marketing and communication activities, using metrics and feedback tools.
  • You will support the organization and promotion of internal and external events, such as town halls, webinars, trade shows, customer seminars, etc.
  • You will manage and update the Business Line Analytical website and intranet pages, as well as the internal social media platform, ensuring compliance with ABB's brand guidelines and SEO best practices.
  • You will research and identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence to support product positioning and value proposition development.

Wymagania

  • You will need at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the B2B industry. A BSc/BA in marketing, communications, engineering, or a related field is essential.
  • If you are an open-minded, autonomous self-starter with strong networking skills, a keen interest in technology issues, and the ability to think strategically and creatively, you are exactly who we are looking for.
  • Your hands-on approach will enable you to translate strategies into actions and effectively monitor and report on progress using KPIs.
  • You should be a fast learner capable of translating complex technology into easy-to-understand and engaging content.
  • Proficiency in office and creative programs, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint, is crucial.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills and fluency in English are also required.
