Opis stanowiska

What you will be doing:

  • Project Portfolio Management & Strategic Projects:
  • Develop, implement & manage a common portfolio management process & plan that successfully supports Service Lines & Operations deliver their goals & objectives
  • Balance the implementation of change initiatives in Operations with the potential return on investment
  • Define & set the standards of how projects and initiatives are managed in Operations
  • Oversee all Operations projects & initiatives as a unified portfolio to achieve strategic organisational goals
  • Build & run the capability & tools that will enable your colleagues in our delivery units to select, prioritise, optimise & govern multiple projects & initiatives across Operations, connected to agreed ways of working & demonstrating clear value back to business
  • Project portfolio reporting the enables data driven decision making by Service Line leadership teams and Operations Executive Leadership team

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of independent senior project leaders, who are proactively driving strategic projects that support Operations & the Group
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Set goals for team and team members. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and create development opportunities

  • Are self-driven and a strong communicator who can also produce superior presentations and communication material for executive audiences
  • Possess deep interest in financial services and a good understanding of banking terminology and concepts
  • Are a true team player with great stakeholder management and interpersonal skills and solid organisational savviness enabling you to interact and navigate effectively at all levels and across different business areas to bridge diverse perspectives and formulate an opinion
  • Understand importance of data to foster a data-driven culture and mind-set
  • Have good experience in successfully delivering across a complex, matrix environment with multiple stakeholders
     

Your experience and background:  

  • You have a strong background in building and scaling Project Portfolio Management capabilities across different project delivery methodologies – Agile, Waterfall, hybrid etc.
  • Proven ability managing a portfolio of change initiatives that successfully support organisational goals and strategic priorities
  • Solid experiences and interest in financial services, delivering operational efficiencies and digitalisation solutions
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience, preferably in financial services industry
  • A good understanding of change/transformation programmes and project delivery
  • Solid business acumen in the banking context
  • The ability to find answers by confidently reaching out to stakeholders including senior executives
  • Have the courage to escalate when needed and resolve issues in great manner
  • Strong communication skills & analytical ability and a proactive approach
  • Fluent proficiency in English
