Group Internal Audit (GIA) is a collaborative and inclusive department, which by providing objective assurance and advice supports the Group Board and Group Leadership Team in protecting the assets, reputation and sustainability of the Group. The graduate programme is designed to kickstart your career. The programme is for 2 years and you’ll have rotations during that time with clear learning objectives to support your growth. About this opportunity

You’ll join Group Internal Audit (GIA), where we focus on supporting the Board of Directors and Executive Management in protecting the assets, reputation and sustainability of the Nordea Group. We are today over 220 colleagues from different parts of the world and representing over 20 nationalities. We are located in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Luxembourg, New York, Oslo, Stockholm, Gdynia, Łódź, Warsaw and Tallin. We are passionate about our work, and seek to make a difference at Nordea. What you’ll be doing:

  • Participating in various business and technology audit projects across different business areas and group functions audited by GIA
  • Getting hands-on experience with internal auditing, audit project lifecycle and stakeholder communication
  • Having diverse tasks depending on your own interest and background allowing you to develop competencies in the area of your interest
  • Being part of our transformation journey at Nordea and in Group Internal Audit, taking part in and helping us in our vision of being recognized as one of the most innovative and inspirational audit function in the financial services

To be a qualified candidate for the Graduate positions, you have:

  • Master’s degree (latest 1st Sept. 2023)
  • A maximum of two years’ post-academic work experience
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken language skills)
